Job Title: Data EngineerWork Location: JaipurSummary:As a Data engineer, you will be responsible for defining the data requirements and structure for the application. Your typical day will involve developing the application data structure, storage, and integrations.Role & Responsibilities: Work on the design and development of new database/ data model changes. Work on database deployments and upgrade procedures. Develop and document best practices for database installations, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Collaborate with Change Management, Quality Assurance, Development, and Project Management teams for new releases and hotfixes. Provide technical support for triaging issues, identifying root causes, and deploying fixes or workarounds. Peer review and verify code for other database developers.Partner with developers to review and data model changes and provide recommendations based on best practices. Improve existing processes and provide innovative ways to automate routines. Maintain and update database dictionary and release artifacts with each release.Requirements:6+ years experience in data modeling, ERD using ERWIN, or other data modeling tools. 6+ years experience working with high-volume OLTP and OLAP systems. Excellent T-SQL, PL/SQL script writing debugging skills. Experience with database upgrade tools, deployments, and automation. Experience troubleshooting issues with database performance, and functionality. Ability to work with source controls like git and svn and project tracking with JIRA. Ability to engage with emotional intelligence as required to avoid conflicts. High-energy professional who thrives working in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player with customer focus and attitude. Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science.
